SMKA provides a comprehensive electric vehicle (EV) charging solution, encompassing compact, high-quality AC wall boxes, reliable DC fast charging stations with robust connectivity and innovative on-demand electric bus charging systems. Our deployed infrastructure is designed to meet the evolving requirements of the next generation of smarter mobility.

ii. We offer two distinct types of Electric Vehicle (EV) Chargers: AC Chargers and DC Chargers.

AC chargers, recognised for their simplicity and widespread use, are commonly found in homes and private spaces due to their cost-effectiveness and straightforward installation. During the charging process with an AC charger, the electricity is converted into DC current by the vehicle's onboard rectifier. Charging rates for AC chargers are limited by the capacity of the EV's onboard rectifier, typically ranging from 3.7 kW to 22 kW.

In contrast, DC chargers perform the conversion from AC to DC within the charging station itself, allowing them to handle significantly higher capacities than an EV's onboard rectifier. DC chargers are capable of superfast charging, ranging from 24 kW to 350 kW. Consequently, vehicles utilising DC chargers experience faster charging times.
