Palm Jumeirah Villas – Wiring device project

Location:

Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.

Project Brief:

1. Project: Construction of 1500 plus Palm Jumeirah villas
2. Client: Nakheel
3. Project Contractor: Various.

Challenges:

This was a milestone project for our wiring devices. The major challenge faced during this project was supplying the client with special finishes for its themed villas.

What did we supply? We supplied the following products:

MK Aspect range in three different finishes

• Polished Chrome
• Brush Stainless Steel
• Polished Brass

Timeline / Project Duration:

This very large order of materials with special finishes was to be delivered in 16 – 18 weeks.

What did we achieve:

We achieved 100 % supply of a very large value of special finish material / Themed wiring solutions in the specified time line.

Achievement:

Completion of this prestigious project in the given time frame with 100% customized quality service provided.

Al Barari villas – Wiring device project

Location:

Al Barari, Dubai.

Project Brief:

1. Project: Construction of 400 super luxury villas.
2. Client: Al Barari Developers

Challenge:

To supply these high end villas with customised plates in an antique theme.

What did we supply? We supplied the following products:

MK Aspect range – three different finishes

• Antique Bronze
• Satin Chrome
• Complete special plates for controls

What did we achieve:

A landmark project for SMKA Electric and our principal in terms of project reference and capability to meet the high end luxury needs of this project. We provided solutions that were in-line with the requirements of the client. We supplied a large number of customised antique plates in a time frame of 10 – 12 weeks.

Concourse 3 - Airport Terminal – Floor Distribution system

Location:

Next to Airport Terminal 1 – Dubai International Airport.

Project Brief:

1. Project: Construction of underfloor distribution systems in the concourse airport terminal.
2. Client: Dubai Civil Aviation

Challenge:

This was a huge project for us. The major challenge in undertaking this project was to supply special service boxes to accommodate accessories in accordance to the specification.

What did we supply? We supplied the following products:

OBO Ackermann – Underfloor distribution systems including Wet Clean flush boxes, floor trunking systems , underfloor trunking systems and special service boxes with the built in capability of accommodating multi-service accessories including FTTO modules.

What did we achieve:

We supplied custom made service boxes to accommodate all accessories in line with the client’s requirements. This was achieved within the time frame specified.

Solutions or Result Attained:

100 % customized underfloor solutions provided.

How did we get it done?

Working with the client’s consultant we designed special service boxes to be used for housing FTTO’s, very high load-bearing plates and extra loading burden from maintenance equipment . The redesign of service boxes to accommodate all these complex needs and complying at the same time to the relevant standards was a huge task, which we successfully achieved on time.

Arabian Center

Location:

Khawaneej Road, Mirdif, UAE

Project Brief:

Supply of LV switchgear panels, motor control centres, ATS panels and control panels for the project Arabian Center.

Challenges:

To provide type tested panels as per the specifications.

What did we achieve?

The execution of this prestigious, large value project in the time period specified by the client.

Solutions or results attained:

We provided complete solutions as per the specifications of the consultant.

Timeline / Project duration:

Tight schedules have always been a concern in project executions; we still managed to complete this project well inside the time frame of four months.
